The SDF Series (Ariana Ryder)

When Ariana Ryder became an FBI Agent straight out of college, it wasn’t because she knew how to investigate (Ha!), it was because she had a gift.  Ariana can see visions of the past, and she uses her powers to bust supernatural bad guy butt with her team, Nashville’s flagship team of the Special Division Force.

She’s spunky, smart and way too young for her job, not that that stops a girl ready to learn. So grab a cup and cozy up to silly psychic Ariana Ryder.

Vampires aren’t the only things that go bump in the night…

Singers are a dime a dozen in Nashville, so despite her mama’s urging, psychic Ariana Ryder’s working her way towards a career in law enforcement at the FBI, one tray of fetched coffee at a time, instead. She’s got an extremely handsome boss, a dancing partner among the lab techs, and a solid year as the team rookie under her belt…

Right until the director gives her a big break, working undercover as a singer at a club to investigate why it’s being targeted by a serial killer. This might have worked better if the club didn’t happen to be a vampire nest.

Now, with the vampire’s investigator, Quil, on her case, the jurisdictional battle isn’t the only thing heating up as they race to solve the case before the killer strikes again!

And they thought catching the serial killer was difficult…

Psychic Ariana Ryder just completed her probationary year and is now a full agent in the FBI’s Special Division Force, a semi-secret branch that investigates paranormal crimes.

The director, in a bid to score political points, puts Ariana on interrogating famous serial killer, JB Truck, aka The Puzzle Master. Truck’s been in prison two years and the authorities still can’t figure out who all his victims were or where his vast resources came from.

Ariana’s mission is simple, get visions off the psycho until they get the information they need.

But nothing’s ever simple when there’s magic afoot. The vampire queen’s gunning for Ariana, there’s a new shifter in town who needs a psychic’s help, and Truck’s got a few tricks of his own.

And he didn’t end up in Nashville by accident.

What are people saying about Ariana?

**I enjoyed the magical twists on our every day world and the plot twists. Ariana is unique and I’m look forward to seeing more of her in the future.**

**Likeable heroine with touch of I Love Lucy klutziness. Comedy paranormal urban fantasy. Left me with urge to read anything else in series and to sample author’s Evie Jones series.**

**When you read as much as I do, you vastly appreciate books like this. It is intensely READABLE; the story flows well, the characters are consistent in their actions, and there is plenty of action to keep even this ADD person paying attention. The psycho-killer’s long game and end game are PARTICULARLY well thought out.
In fact, I was enjoying the book so much that I found myself regretting how fast it was going by. I took several breaks to check my mail & so forth, just because I wanted to stretch out the experience.**

**Amie does a superb job of drawing you in, making you care about the characters, and leaving you in suspense at every turn. A surprisingly fun (and often funny) story about a dark and sometimes twisted world.**

**Wow I loved it, its just what I’ve been looking for. Couldn’t put it down, edge of your seat action.**
